Pip & Nut has launched a new limited-edition blueberry trail mix almond butter, as it aims to combine two trends, trail mix and blueberries, together.

The company’s newest variant is a blend of trail mix ingredients, combining almond butter, sunflower and pumpkin seed butters, with real blueberries, coconut and almond nibs.

As with Pip & Nut’s existing range, the spread is made from only natural ingredients and contains no palm oil.

Suitable for vegans, the product is also high in fibre and a source of protein and healthy fats, according to the UK-based brand.

The new flavour is the Pip & Nut’s latest addition to its limited-edition series. Other flavours in the series include cherry bakewell almond butter that was released last year and chocolate orange almond butter that launched in 2018.

At the end of last year, Pip & Nut entered the nut butter cups category with a range made using peanuts and almonds and featuring Colombian chocolate.

Pip & Nut Blueberry Trail Mix Almond Butter is available in 500 Sainsbury’s stores, and will roll out from 13 January into 228 Morrisons stores, as well as Boots, Whole Foods, Holland and Barrett and Ocado, for an RRP of £3.95.
