French flavours and fragrances company Mane has partnered with Sri Lanka’s Akbar Brothers to provide tea and coffee extracts.

A new joint venture called Ethical Extracts will produce all-natural Ceylon tea extracts while also focusing on speciality coffee.

Mane said that with Akbar’s supply chain capabilities and its own manufacturing facility equipped with technologies for aqueous extraction, Ethical Extracts is “uniquely positioned” to provide high-quality concentrates and aromas to the beverage, food and cosmetic sectors globally.

The Mane strategic development centre in Singapore, in coordination with the company’s other facilities, will work in partnership with customers globally as it aims to create groundbreaking new beverages.
