US ice cream brand Alden’s Organic seeks to celebrate its Oregon roots with a raft of new flavour launches alongside updated packaging.
The eight new pints, scheduled to hit stores in spring 2019, are: Sasquatch tracks, caramel macchiato, crushin on cookies and mint, vanilla crème, double Dutch chocolate, road trip dark chocolate almond, midnight cherry chip, and dough yeah cookie dough fudge.
Alden’s Organic vice president of marketing and innovation Michelle Hunt said: “Our eight new pint flavours are made to spark a good time – never too sweet and unmistakably tasting like the organic ingredients inside. If something says ‘strawberry’, we think it should taste like strawberry not strawberry-ish.
“Recipes like Sasquatch tracks road trip evoke our Oregon roots and spirit. We do ice cream the Oregon way – always playful yet relentlessly progressive – to prove that organic is both old school and new cool.”
She added: “Alden’s mission is to make organic ice cream irresistible for all. As leaders in the organic category since 2004, we are ‘all in’ on organic and letting the organic flavour realness shine through in every scoop, lick and bite. Our new packaging spotlights that signature true-to-flavour taste.”
Founded in 2004, Alden’s produces a range of ice cream pints, sandwiches and bars. Last year, it introduced orange cream bars which it described as “summer on a stick”.
